Audition information for summer 2022 production
Show dates - August 26- 28th
Audition- July 7th at 9:30am
Callbacks- July 8th at 10am
Cast list will be posted July 8th by 9pm
First rehearsal - July 9th at 9:30am
MANDATORY PARENT MEETING - July 9th at 3pm
REQUIREMENTS-
All performers must be 12 years or older
AUDITION MATERIALS
All audition materials are at the bottom of this page
Students will be expected to learn materials on their own unless they attend the Newsies workshop.
NEWSIES WORKSHOP
Date - June 18th 11-2pm
Come to our Newsies workshop where we will prepare students how to stand out at auditions. Directors will personally teach students the audition materials and give them corrections. Our goal is to set students up for success and help them feel confident when they audition for our summer 2022 production of Newsies!
Fee - $15
*its highly recommended to attend, but not mandatory. We are offering this for the students that want to get extra help.
audition materials will be posted on BAND and our website for everyone regardless
if you attend the workshop.
please note that audition materials will ONLY be taught at the workshop and students will be expected to already know materials for auditions.
If you can’t make it to auditions because of a family vacation, school camp or other prior commitments, video auditions will be accepted by email. Please have them submitted by July 7th and sent to [email protected]. If you can’t make it to callbacks please contact us.
